I was born in Misiones, Argentina, a place with subtropical climate where nature offers a great quantity of raw materials and colours.
I was trained since childhood to observe the environment and gather materials such as wood, stones, seeds, bamboo and transform them into aesthetic objects.
I also like to combine different fields of art and art crafts like sculpting, woodworking and painting.
This is why all the pieces i create are unique and in limited editions.
I am not a massive production artist and i love to discover new challenges.
Every place i've lived, since i left Argentina has influenced my art and i have always incorporated natural local materials in all my creations, such as the Mediterranean stones from my 3D painting collection.
Nature and civilisation, inertia and change, are the central elements of my artistic research. Materials, which others might ignore, here they tell their own stories either as autonomous sculptures, or incorporated into paintings as protagonists.
My paintings are mostly anthropocentric and a big part of them are influenced by literature, the unconscious mind, everyday life and movements such as Arte Povera and Surrealism. I am always interested in allowing the viewer to roam freely inside the narrative of my work, urging him to redefine his relationship with nature.
